Product introduction

Telmer 40 Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Lowering blood pressure helps prevent future heart attacks and strokes. This medicine is also effective in preserving kidney function in patients with diabetes.

Telmer 40 Tablet can be prescribed either alone or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time every day to obtain effective results. It is important to continue taking it regularly even if you feel well or if your blood pressure is controlled. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel ill, but if you stop taking this medicine, your condition could get worse. This is a widely used medicine and is considered safe for long-term use.

Making some changes in your lifestyle will also help lower your blood pressure. These may include regular exercise, losing weight, smoking cessation, reducing alcohol intake, and reducing the amount of salt in your diet as advised by your doctor.

Common side effects of Telmer 40 Tablet include diarrhea, back pain, sinus inflammation, and skin ulcers. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you or worsen. They may be able to help by reducing the dosage or by prescribing you an alternate medicine.

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any kidney or liver problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should also consult their doctor before taking it. Your doctor may check your kidney function, blood pressure, and potassium levels in your blood at regular intervals while you are taking this medicine.

Uses of Telmer Tablet

Benefits of Telmer Tablet

In Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Telmer 40 Tablet helps lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood. When taken regularly as prescribed by the doctor, it helps reduce the risk of complications like kidney damage, heart disease, and stroke.

In Heart Failure

Telmer 40 Tablet helps in heart failure by relaxing blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, and easing the strain on the heart. This improves blood flow, making it easier for the heart to pump blood efficiently. It also helps reduce fluid buildup in the body, preventing swelling and shortness of breath, common symptoms of heart failure. Additionally, Telmer 40 Tablet protects the heart by lowering the risk of further damage. It is often used as an alternative for patients who cannot tolerate ACE inhibitors, such as Ramipril, due to side effects like a persistent cough. While not the first-choice treatment for heart failure, doctors may prescribe Telmer 40 Tablet, when appropriate, to support heart function and alleviate symptoms.

In Prevention of Prevention of heart attack and stroke

Telmer 40 Tablet helps manage high blood pressure and reduces the strain on the heart. It also minimizes the likelihood of plaque rupture, blood clots, and vessel blockages, all of which are major contributors to heart attacks and strokes. When taken regularly in the right dosage with a proper diet and healthy lifestyle, it helps prevent heart attack and stroke, especially in individuals with additional risk factors like diabetes.
